About Us

Welcome to The Cottage Kitchen! I’m Brian Pitts, and together with my wife Susan, we bring the heart of our hobby farm to your table. Leveraging my extensive culinary background, I create an array of artisan baked goods, including sourdough bread, English muffins, delightful banana bread, ciabatta and more. Our commitment doesn't stop there; our expansive garden provides a rich selection of fresh produce and farm-fresh eggs. Order online or join us at the seasonal, downtown Baldwin City farmer's market every Saturday, to savor the organic flavors of our labor and love that make each of our products truly special.

Our Menu

Select from fresh baked sourdough bread in a variety of flavors, ciabatta bread, made from scratch cookies, banana bread created from sourdough, sourdough English muffins or even farm fresh eggs.  Arrange for pick up or for a small fee a drop off within Baldwin City. 

Sourdough is a natural fermentation process making it a healthy gut probiotic.

 Orders need to be 3-4 days in advance.  You can also call or text to check availability for immediate needs at 785.766.0665

WHY SOURDOUGH?
